KARLEE

Karlee has completed post graduate specialist certificates in Paediatric Optometry Management; Neuro-ophthalmic Disease Management and Specialist Contact lens fitting and management. This has primed her to work with patients whose symptoms or concerns lay a little outside the box. Karlee is therapeutically qualified and although she looks young- has been practicing for the past 18 years. She loves the beach; or water in general which is not surprising as she is a Pisces. Karlee is mum to 4 fur babies- all rescue cats from ten lives. She is now officially a “crazy cat lady”. Her parents moved to Hobart 20 years ago and call themselves honorary Hobartians. This triggered her move from Townsville and she has now found her forever home.

FIONA

Fiona is a Qualified Optical Dispenser completing her studies in 1996 from RMIT. Fiona has worked for Optometry practices in Hobart, Sydney and London; refining her flair for frame selection in a practice on London’s Fleet Street. There she mastered her craft of selecting frames for influential people like Tony Blair; which would be suitable for his prime ministerial public role and yet also withstand intense media scrutiny. Fiona returned to Hobart in 2005 and has been with “Look of Australia” team for the past 17 years building many positive customer relationships. When not at work you can’t slow her down. She enjoys running; karate and has a keen interest in cycling.

Tori is happy to see all varieties of eye conditions and finds this variation helps keep her thinking outside the box and up to date on continued education. She has a particular interest in myopia (short sighted) control, as this can help prevent ocular health issues for individuals in the long term. She is enthusiastic about preventative eyecare management. Tori is active within the optometry community and has historically held positions on the Early Career Optometrist board, Optometry Tasmania board in addition to being the treasurer on the National Optometry Australia board. Outside of work Tori loves getting into the Tasmanian wilderness from hiking to swimming.
Tori will be on Maternity leave from August 2024 and will return in March 2025.
